Rough year

It has been a very rough year. Someone ran into me and totaled my car. I am still trying to recover, even though the person was clearly at fault, cited by police, and there was a witness. I am now without a car and it has been very difficult to get around. I am not able to get in for treatment for the pain. I have not been able to keep up much with my acts of kindness, though I have continued to donate books to a school. I try to do whatever acts of kindness I can, such as giving a credit slip on the bus to someone who is short of bus fare. I am hoping to get a car soon so I can start getting things back on track and continue with my acts of kindness. Just today I found a "quilt in a day" book with a template for making "flying geese" quilts. Now I just need to be able to get back to quilting. Quilting is like "therapy" for me and I miss it very much. Even though I have not been posting lately, I have not forgotten and do try as I am able to continue doing acts of kindness.
